Friends and Family,
It's been a few months since my last note. Ami and I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Thank you for the support and encouragement over this last year.
me with us.
Charity Status:
We have a fully registered, Israeli charity that now allows us to raise funds locally. With that in place, we have found a long-term umbrella organization that is our US 501c3 partner which allows for tax deductible donations. For those interested in donating still, our donation page can be found here. In addition, we now have launched our Israeli site that accompanies our English speaking website. For those new to the mailing list, our mission can be found here
Recent Activity:
As the war has heated up, our activities have ramped down materially. We're finding it harder than before to get folks on outdoor adventures away from bomb shelters. This is especially true for trips of young adults as parents are reluctant to send their kids away. Hopefully, with the ceasefire now in place, we will have a more stable environment to again support the impacted communities. With that said, we have had some activity, particularly with adults. Some highlights below.
Kissufim group ride: Members from the Kissufim riding club got together for a support event in memory of the fallen on October 7. It was the first time they rode in their home region. An update to those who have been following this group. They are finally out of the hotel by the Dead Sea and now in a newly built neighborhood just north of Beer Sheva

Biking Group for Reservists: In collaboration with the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, we’ve launched a bi-monthly biking group for reservists, many of whom are still actively serving. On the last ride, the mayor of the Yehuda Regional Council joined us. These rides provide a space for connection, followed by a beer and open conversations about their combat experiences and the challenges of transitioning back to routine. Thanks to a generous donation from Adcore, we’ve received five hardtail mountain bikes for new riders. This gives those who haven’t biked in years—or even since childhood—the chance to rediscover the joy of riding.

Kibbutz Hanita Pilot - We are testing a new pilot program with Kibbutz Hanita. Together with the community leader, we’ve planned four trips led by a local tour guide. These trips aim to bring together dispersed adults aged 40–60 once a month to meet and maintain a sense of community. What’s great is that this age group is often overlooked in government initiatives. If successful, this pilot will be introduced to other kibbutzim.
Thank you again for your love and support. We are excited to ramp back up with the ceasefire in place and the holidays behind us. Your engagement both as donors and supporters is critical to our efforts.
Am Yisrael Chai,
Dave and Ami
