🌿 A Moving Experience in Nature 🌿

Yesterday, I participated in a foraging and outdoor cooking tour with the displaced community of Kibbutz Hanita. I’ve been organizing trips since I was released from reserve duty, but this one felt especially meaningful.

During the day, a participant approached me and shared that this was the first time she had attended a kibbutz gathering since the evacuation. Why now?

šŸ“ Because it was an event for adults, without the chaos of a family gathering

šŸ“ Because it was calm, in nature, with space for real conversation

šŸ“ Because it offered a simple way to reconnect without pressure

I listened to their conversations.

They were positive—about the excitement of returning home, about the different places they are now living in and how they have found moments of joy even in difficult times. Of course, the hardships came up as well, but there was a safe space to talk, to share, and to take a breath outside of daily struggles.

I hope to bring more communities together, using nature as a tool for connection and resilience.

With spring arriving, renewal can be felt—not just in nature, but within us as well.

šŸ‡®šŸ‡± Am Yisrael Chai – as always, we continue on our path.
